These adorable college sweethearts met at Central College in Pella, Iowa, where they were both part of the same music ensemble.Cody proposed on November 28th, 2018 on the college’s campus in the very auditorium where the couple used to sing and write music together! He had all of her friends in on the engagement, but still managed to keep it a secret. You can see the couple’s super sweet proposal video on YouTube at this link here!
Cody and Devin had this to say about their engagement session: “Doing the ice cream shoot was pretty fun! It was pretty unique, and the ice cream tasted great! Stephanie is super awesome, really nice, and took a ton of really great photos!” They also weren’t too nervous while shooting, and suggest that couples planning an engagement session just “relax and have fun with it!”
Cody and Devin won the ‘Labor for Love’ Valentine’s Day giveaway put on by Little Lights Events. They will be the first couple to get married at the new venue, Little Lights on the Lane in West Branch, Iowa on Sunday, September 1st.
