Depending on who you ask, the details of how Lucas and Morgan met are a little fuzzy. The couple go way back to sixth grade science class, where Lucas sat behind Morgan. They went to seperate schools in seventh and eighth grade, and when Lucas came back to the school that Morgan was at, it was like they met for the first time – Lucas remembered Morgan, but Morgan did not remember Lucas! They were friends all throughout high school and officially started dating the summer before they went to college. They got engaged on January 1st, 2019.
Morgan had this to say about her and Lucas’s engagement session experience: “At one point we were sitting on the dock with our feet in the water and Stephanie told us to splash each other. I looked at Lucas and told him I would hurt him if he did and he thought that was hilarious. But, I felt like the whole session was constant laughing because Lucas is quite a clown!” She also added, “I was very nervous because Lucas is 6’5″ and I am 5′. I expressed my concern with Stephanie and she made me feel comfortable the whole time! … [Stephanie was] AMAZING! We love her!”
Lucas and Morgan are getting married on May 23rd, 2020 in Dubuque, Iowa at the church Morgan grew up going to. The ceremony will be performed by Lucas’ grandfather who is a deacon, with a reception to follow at Peosta Community Center.
